It's nice to have some scouts for hunting and events but i don't find scouting itself usefull? Do i miss something?Īside from gifts and their story i have no idea that makes companions. Morale of the story is bring way more supplies than you need.I know that you can scout the nodes around you but it cost MovementPoints, Resourcefullness and maybe scouts itself to get a chance to get basic informations for one pared to the cost in travel time and therefore supplies i found it useless for 95% of the time. Pack beasts to make it back to Torag Shelter. I made the mistake of trying to make it to Twin Towers, forgetting they also had no supplies (There is a 1 time event that gives you some supplies to escape the dead-end). I got stuck early on when I headed south to Kenark Waystation and didn't bring nearly enough supplies since I thought there would be more to buy there.
